Breathtaking, high resolution panoramas.
An image with a field of view equal to or greater than 160°x75° (the human eye) is considered to be panoramic, while images made with wide angle of view lenses (fish-eye lenses) are not.
FotoNation’s Panorama solution is specially designed for real-time processing on embedded platforms. The proprietary algorithm is easy to integrate, has no need for geometrical distortion correction, can automatically detect the sweep direction and can produce both 2D or 3D panoramas.
Using a simplified implementation solution, Panorama has no UI requirements to capture a scene, it offers fast sweep, a gyroscope sensor and high resolution support, and the execution is done in real-time with low MIPS.
EMBEDDED TECHNOLOGY designed for existing single-aperture camera architectures.
OPTIMIZED FOR SPEED AND QUALITY
SUPPORTS FAST SWEEP, which can be further improved by hardware acceleration.
EASY TO USE to capture 3D content using low-cost imaging devices.
